About

Showcase is a curated website inspiration library by Makesquare. It is built for designers, founders, and product teams who want strong references they can actually use while planning and building better web experiences.

What Showcase is for

Showcase helps you:

  • Discover hand-picked websites across different industries, styles, frameworks, and motion patterns.
  • Save references into collections for later review.
  • Add your own websites and turn them into structured references inside your library.
  • Study the design signals behind strong work, not just the finished screenshots.
  • Turn inspiration into clearer product decisions and faster execution.

What we curate

We look for websites with a clear point of view, strong craft, and useful implementation signals. That can include product sites, landing pages, brand sites, editorial experiences, portfolios, and other high-quality web work that is worth studying.

Added sites and extraction

Showcase is not only a browsing library. Users can also add their own websites into the product. When a site is added, Showcase extracts useful build signals from it, such as categories, industry, style, typography, platform, framework, animation cues, colors, screenshots, and other structured metadata that make the reference easier to search, save, compare, and reuse.

How we think about curation

We care about usefulness, not just novelty. A site can be visually bold, minimal, technical, playful, editorial, or experimental, but it still needs to teach something valuable about structure, typography, color, motion, interaction, or storytelling.

Rights and attribution
